Rejoice always! Pray without ceasing! Give thanks in all circumstances! For this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you (1 Thessalonians 5:16-18)

Why pray? God is worthy of our worship & time! Prayer glorifies Him.

Why pray? Prayer changes us! We mature spiritually as we praise Him, thank Him, ponder His Word, repent & receive forgiveness from Him, ask Him for our needs, lift others up to Him, and rest confidently in His care.

Why pray? The Father commands it! If we Love Him, we will obey.

Why pray? Jesus prayed! To be conformed to the image of Christ, we must follow His example. Why pray? Prayer works! As the Holy Spirit directs our prayers, God’s will is carried out. He has given us work to do – and part of that work is praying for His kingdom to come and His will be done on earth as it is in heaven.

Why pray? God has good plans for our future. To see His purposes fulfilled in us we must pray or risk getting off track.

Why pray together? Praying together was a priority in Jesus’ teaching. Praying together was a priority for the apostles and early church. Regular, consistent prayer movements have impacted churches, missions and history. Praying together grows our faith and impacts our world.
