It would be easy to dwell on the past and fail to recognize that God is actively doing work in this church and moving us forward into his next plans for us. Past victories or failures can blind us to God’s present work. Sometimes we cling to the old so tightly that we miss the new thing God is doing, but God is not finished with us yet! Pastor Liz Green

Do you have questions about your faith that have not yet been answered I know that I do Faith exists despite not having all of the answers readily available Yes there is something very different between head faith and heart faith The book of Hebrews tells us this is Hebrews chapter 11 verse one Now faith is the assurance of things hoped for the evidence of things not seen there was a pastor that i listened to back when i was a teenager and he used to emphasize this verse by saying the evidence of things not yet seen We talk about when we will be with the Lord forever Our faith will then become sight We will see the things that we'd only trusted in God's Word that would happen There's another acquaintance I have from cyberspace that's not AI that said this I thought this was pretty good Head faith is strong when things are favorable and improving but fails when things look worse But heart faith is just as strong when things are against it because it rests on the Almighty God who rules over all persons feelings circumstances and powers I thought that was pretty good Heart faith is the kind of thing that in the midst of challenges difficulties hardships persecution whatever it may be it holds on to the fact that Christ is Lord and He is over all
