Operation Christmas Child – Thank YOU!

Success! On November 5, because of our church’s efforts, 301 boxes were packed as part of our 19th annual OCC packing party. That means 301 opportunities for kids in impoverished areas to hear the gospel!
Here’s a snapshot of God’s great work:
- 301 boxes packed – goal was 300!
- 60 volunteers participated at the event
- Awana collected 114 toys and $138 collected for postage
- $1,068 collected from church members and $554 collected from community/business contributions
- $200 came from the church budget and $80 collected at packing party for postage
The OCC committee planning was phenomenal. Thank you for their intense planning of this event: Jill Groelle, Linda Lyke, Lynnette Millard, Joel Osborn, Jenn Preiss, Becky Snyder and Tara Rotzoll.
This year, our OCC boxes went to Lesotho, South Africa.
