Restored for a purpose

National Seventh Day Baptist Virtual Conference

28 Jun 2021, by Joel Osborn in Newsletter

Many Milton SDB Members will be featured in the National SDB Virtual Conference, July 25-31.

Throughout the week, we get to soak in President Kevin Butler’s theme “Restored for a Purpose.”

“And the God of all grace, who called you to his eternal glory in Christ, after you have suffered a little while, will himself restore you and make you strong, firm and steadfast.” 1 Peter 5:10

Bible studies, led by our own Pastor Nate Crandall, and messages given by SDB pastors across the USA and Canada will center on God’s purposes for us and how we can enjoy His restoration.

Seminars on Monday, Wednesday and Friday will focus on God’s purposes for us in sharing His grace and glory through our public witness. These will be led by our 9 Arts of Spiritual Conversations facilitators, Linda Lyke, Shanny Snyder and Melissa Lade.

The Tuesday, Thursday seminars  will be led by Pastor Nick Kersten telling the story of SDBs from 350 years ago in Newport RI to today.

On Sabbath, July 31st, Pastor Carl Greene will give the morning message.

An offering will be taken on Sabbath, specifically for our SDB General Conference to ensure that we live out our collective purpose together as a Conference of churches. Designate “Conf Offering” on your check.

Register at www.seventhdaybaptist.org/conferenceweek2021

You will get a confirmation email and then another email the week before the events with the link to attend. These events will not be on other social media platforms. Registration is free but donations are accepted.
