Milton SDB, we have a great spiritual heritage! By the grace of God we are building an ongoing heritage which will bring honor and glory to Jesus Christ. Let’s celebrate it!
This year’s Heritage Sabbath celebration begins on Friday night with Pizza and Praise. Come for pizza and stay for praise and worship. We welcome back Aaron Andries (who is just awesome!) both to lead us in worship on Friday night and Sabbath morning.
On Sabbath morning we welcome Pastor Dave Stall, the Church Planting Coordinator for Seventh Day Baptists in North America, as he shares with us about God’s plan for spreading the gospel through new churches. He will be leading in Sabbath School, speaking during the service, and sharing in the afternoon after lunch about church planting.
In addition we will be hearing from Phil and Bethany Lawton, the church planters we sponsor, as they update us with what the Lord is doing in Chicago.
Back by popular demand is the Turkey Dinner. We haven’t had much opportunity to share around the table in recent years, so let’s take advantage of this time for good food and fellowship right after the worship service.
To round out the events of the weekend, come back at 6:00 pm for fun with Trivia. There will
be snacks, drinks, and, YES, prizes!! Teams of 6-8 people are already forming. If you’d like
to put together a team, contact Melissa Lade to reserve your spot.
This is going to be a great weekend. Let’s pray for the Lord to move in powerful ways!!
