The Acts of the Disciples


The first disciples acted in response to Jesus and in response to the Holy Spirit. In fact, the book of Acts records how the Holy Spirit led them to live lives of faith in action. As we will see, their faith in action led to the forward movement of the kingdom of heaven on earth. We need to examine their faith in action closely, and as we do that, the Lord will work in us and through us to move the kingdom forward in our time.


Because we disciples are born of the Spirit through faith in Jesus, the Word reveals to us the gospel that we share and the Spirit empowers us to minister the power of the gospel for the sake of the God’s advancing kingdom.
